Is it necessary to take CetylPure™ with lipase?
No.  Lipase breaks triglycerides (the most commonly found fat in the body) into glycerol & fatty acid esters. CetylPure™ is already esterified. It needs to be absorbed by the body intact.

Is it safe to take CetylPure™ and drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, take pharmaceuticals or drink coffee?
CetylPure is stored & released from the liver. The above elements put stress on the liver.  However, it is safe to take CetylPure™ if you drink coffee, and other beverages.  Notwithstanding this, all products will function more effectively with a strong and healthy liver.

Should CetylPure™ be taken on an empty stomach?
Yes. Enzymes called esterases are produced in the pancreas and released into the small intestine when certain foods are eaten. These esterases could split the fatty acid esters found in the CM Complex, and thereby decrease the efficacy of CetylPure™.  The active ingredients found in CetylPure™ must be absorbed intact to achieve best results.

Wouldn't CetylPure™ be more effective if it was taken in a softgel (oil form)?
No.  The powder seems to function as an enteric coating which protects the "active" molecule until it arrives in the small intestine where it is absorbed intact.

Can CetylPure™ be taken for longer than 30 days?
Yes.  Some individuals may need to take CetylPure™ for 60 or even 90 days and it is completely safe to do so.

Might there ever be a reason to take more CetylPure™ than the recommended dose?
Yes.  There are two reasons that the dose may be increased.  Firstly, if an individual weighs more than 14 stones (or 90-kg) they may need to take 3 capsules at a time (twice daily). And Secondly, if an individual has joint discomfort in several different areas. For example: Joint discomfort in both knees and several fingers or one knee, one finger and one elbow.  The dose should probably then be increased to 3 capsules twice daily.
Further, if an individual has had joint discomfort for an extended period of time, they may need to increase the dosage of CetylPure.  For example, an individual who has suffered for 10 years may need to take 3 capsules twice daily as opposed to an individual who has suffered with joint discomfort for 6 months.

Can I take a larger dose of CetylPure™ than recommended on the directions?
Yes.  Often larger individuals or those who have experienced joint and muscle discomfort for a considerable amount of time, find faster results by increasing the daily dose to three or four capsules twice daily.  It depends upon the size and weight of the individual, the severity of joint discomfort, and the length of time that the individual has experienced these symptoms.
